The Superior Vocational Training Programme in Early Childhood Education prepares students to obtain the qualification of Early Childhood Education Technician.
It trains professionals to support the development of children aged 0–6, design educational activities, participate in pedagogical projects and work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams in formal and non-formal settings.

Professional family: Sociocultural Services and Community.

Duration: 2 academic years.

Total hours: 2,000 hours (general and/or intensive dual modality).

Competences

Graduates will be able to:

  • Design and implement educational activities for children aged 0–6.

  • Promote health, autonomy and holistic development.

  • Manage learning environments, games and resources.

  • Collaborate with families and educational teams.

  • Detect educational needs and carry out intervention strategies.

Admission requirements

Qualifications granting access:

• Baccalaureate / High School Diploma
• LOGSE Baccalaureate
• BUP (Unified Upper Secondary Education)
• Higher Technician diploma in vocational training, university degree or equivalent
• Specialist Technician diploma, Higher Technician or equivalent
• Medium-level vocational training diploma or Plastic Arts and Design Technician diploma

Or having completed:

• A professional certificate training offer included in the programme
• A specific training course for access to higher vocational cycles
• An access test
• The second year of any experimental baccalaureate modality
• COU or a pre-university course
• University entrance exam for people over 25 or 45, or access for people over 40 with accredited work or professional experience
